A man accused of trespass with intent to commit a sex act has been released on bail by a judge.

Andrew Dowse, 31, is also said to have sexually assaulted a male in Royal Wootton Bassett on the same day.

No charges were put to Dowse when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court and he did not enter any pleas.

Dowse, of High Street, Royal Wootton Bassett, is said to have committed the offences in the town on Thursday, September 5, last year.

Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case until Friday, May 23, and released Dowse on bail until then.
