High Society Ball organiser Tom Bott handed a cheque for £458 to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance last week after a successful first event.
The event on January 18 raised £916, which has been split evenly between Wiltshire Air Ambulance and the Finlay Foundation.
This was the first High Society Ball in Marlborough, which rounded off a season of high tea in the Town Hall.
Mr Bott said: “When I visited the Wiltshire Air Ambulance to present their cheque it was amazing hearing from the crew about what they do and how they do it.
“It is satisfying to know we have been able to help, even in a small way, to keep the crucial WAA in the air.
“We would like to hold similar events in the future in support of this worthwhile service to Wiltshire.”
