Chippenham sweet donations for needy children

The Wiltshire Gazette and Herald: Donations go to the Christian outreach charity Rise Trust Donations go to the Christian outreach charity Rise Trust

A Chippenham recruitment business is appealing for donations of Easter eggs to give to families at the Christian outreach charity Rise Trust.

Chocolate eggs can be dropped off at the 24-7 Staffing office on Timber Street and will be delivered to the three children’s centres in time for Easter celebrations on April 20.

24-7 Staffing director Melody Thompson said: “The Rise are much more than just a children’s charity. They provide a range of services to support our community, including numeracy, literacy courses and a CV writing service helping to build confidence and supporting people back into work.

“As a recruitment business we support their values. We find there is nothing more rewarding than helping people back to work so they can support their families.”

The Rise Trust is 24-7 Staffing’s nominated charity for 2014 and there are other fundraising activities planned for later in the year.
