Wiltshire law firm Goughs Solicitors has raised more than £1,000 for Bag4Sport Foundation, the Devizes charity that supports youth, sporting and other charitable organisations.

This was the first year Goughs Solicitors has competed in the Bag4Sport 24-hour spin-a-thon, which was held at Route 2 Fitness in Devizes.

Money raised will be used by the charity to help grass root sport and provide funds for up and coming athletes.

Goughs put together a team of 31 who tirelessly ensured that the bike relentlessly pedalled on through the day and night.

Eloise Harper, solicitor in the firm’s commercial department said: “We were immensely proud of the time and energy given by everyone in the Goughs team. Our team spirit powered us on throughout the day and into the twilight hours.”

Bag4Sport director Andy Trusler said: “We are delighted that Goughs were part of this year’s spin-a-thon and would like to thank all the teams that took part.”
