Deacon Blue will play Westbonbirt Arboreturm as part of the Forestry Commission’s Forest Live music series of concerts.

Boyzone, Suede and Little Mix have already announced summer dates at Westonbirt, near Tetbury, with Deacon Blue now announced to play on Saturday, July 19.

Fronted by Ricky Ross, Deacon Blue are one of the most respected of all Scottish band, releasing several classic albums such as Raintown, When The World Knows Your Name and Fellow Hoodlums, as well as countless top 20 singles including Real Gone Kid, When Will You (Make My Telephone Ring)?, Chocolate Girl, Wages Day, Your Town and Dignity.

In 2012 Deacon Blue released their first album in over a decade, The Hipsters, which was supported by a sold out UK tour.
