Popular local tenor Sebastiano Cipolla is to star in a spring concert organised by Devizes-based White Horse Opera next month.
Mr Cipolla, a clarinet and saxophone teacher at Dauntsey’s School in West Lavington, has appeared in several White Horse shows over the years and will sing Neapolitan favourites at the concert at the town hall on Saturday, March 29, at 7.30pm.
The concert is entitled All Around the World and Chrissie Higgs will sing Dido’s Lament, Barbara Gompels will reprise the Doll’s Song from The Tales of Hoffman and Paula Boyagis perform the Habanera from Bizet’s Carmen.
The White Horse Opera chorus will sing selections from Wagner’s Tannhauser.
Tickets, £8. are on sale at Devizes Books.
