Students enjoyed a fluteful experience at a music-making master class at a school in Calne at the weekend.
About 40 young flute players from Chippenham, Calne and Swindon congregated at St Mary’s School on Sunday for the second annual day of practice and workshops culminating in a performance for guests.
“It was great,” said St Mary’s School flute teacher Debbie Williams.
“We started the day with a mass ensemble with flute players from beginner stage to post grade eight performing Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and then they broke off into groups to rehearse.
"The day was about getting students together to enjoy playing with others and to see the social and fun side of the flute.”
Friends and family gathered at the end of the day at St Mary’s Chapel to watch the students perform.
