Corsham Neighbourhood Policing Team visited the town's campus site to take a look before moving there later this year.

The team is due to move to Springfield Corsham community campus in June before the site opens fully in the autumn.

The community campus programme, funded by Wiltshire Council, will see a number of community services in one location to provide better access for local people.

PC Hazel Anderson, Community Beat Manager for Corsham, said: "This was a great opportunity for us all to visit the Corsham campus site and see the progress being made.

"We are all really looking forward to moving to the campus, especially as it will be the first campus opening in Wiltshire. There should be real benefits from being based at this hub with other community services."

The campus will be a public, communal space that will include leisure facilities and a new library as well as other spaces available for community use, youth services, learning disabilities activities and private hire.

There will also be an office area and meeting space for the police, Wiltshire Council and a number of voluntary organisations to use.
