Marcus Pocock, 39, of Quakers Walk, Devizes, has been charged with theft after a car was broken into at Park View on Saturday and a tent valued at £400 stolen.

He was released on police bail until a court appearance on February 13.

Police are anxious to find witnesses to a number of other incidents of damage to cars on the same evening, which took place in the Dundas Close and Park View areas. Anyone with information can contact Devizes police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
