Staff and shoppers at Tesco in Marlborough are hoping to have danced their way to a Guinness World Record for the biggest Cha Cha Slide.
Across the UK, staff and customers in Tesco stores came together to take part in the Dance for Diabetes event at 2.30pm last Saturday.
Dancers congregated in its car park in Salisbury Road to perform the routine made famous by DJ Casper.
Chris Woodwood, the community champion for the Marlborough store, said: “We thought we would have got a few more shoppers joining in on the day, but I had a great time doing it and everyone who got involved enjoyed it. It was a laugh and we had fun.”
Staff also donated a pound to wear Hawaiian shirts to work that day. All the money raised will be given to the supermarket’s charity of the year, Diabetes UK.
