The finishing touches are being made to the former Comet building in Chippenham, which is due to reopen as B&M in two weeks time.
National discount variety retailer B&M has created 80 jobs in Chippenham after securing the new shop premises on Bumpers Way. All positions are now filled.
The 12,500sq ft unit has been empty for more than a year since electrical chain Comet went into administration.
Customers can expect a wide variety of branded and own label products including groceries and toiletries, as well as an extensive non-food section.
The new store will also incorporate a prominent seasonal aisle which will change throughout the year.
Store manager Chris Robinson said: “We are excited to open our doors at 9am on Thursday, February 6.”
