Devizes MP Claire Perry signed the Holocaust Educational Trust’s Book of Commitment in the House of Commons
Devizes MP Claire Perry signed the Holocaust Educational Trust’s Book of Commitment this week in the House of Commons in anticipation of Holocaust Memorial Day on January 27.
Mrs Perry joined thousands of others in the lead up to Holocaust Memorial Day to honour those who died during the Holocaust, as well as the survivors who educate young people about what they endured.
She said: “Holocaust Memorial Day marks the 69th anniversary of the liberation of the Nazi concentration camp, Auschwitz-Birkenau.
"This will be an important opportunity to remember the victims and survivors of the Holocaust and I encourage all constituents to mark the day and to join members of my community in the fight against prejudice and intolerance.”
