The Learning Curve is running Emergency First Aid at Work (Level 2) courses across Wiltshire, starting next month.

The course covers the aspects required by a first aider to give emergency first aid in the workplace. It has been designed to cater for basic first aid incidents in smaller workplaces that present few health and safety risks.

This course fulfils the requirement of The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

This one day course is being provided free to those on ESA or JSA or £30 to others.

The next course dates and venues are: February 15 Devizes, February 17 Melksham, February 20 Trowbridge.

Assessment is on-going by the instructor throughout the course, upon successful completion of the course, first aiders receive certification to allow them to practise for three years after which, re-qualification becomes necessary. In addition to the course attendees will also have the opportunity for a free one to one advice session with a fully qualified National Careers Service Adviser.
