TV antiques expert Thomas Plant will be in Swindon this weekend offering residents from across Wiltshire the opportunity to have their antiques valued free of charge.
A onscreen regular on the Antiques Road Trip, Bargain Hunt and Flog It!, Thomas will be holding the valuation event at Jury’s Inn, Fleming Way, Swindon on Saturday January 11 from 10am.
“This is an opportunity for anyone to come along and find out more about that item in the cupboard, bottom drawer or attic,” he said.
After the valuation morning, which runs from 10am to 1pm, Mr Plant will be giving a separate talk, An Audience With Thomas Plant, where he’ll share his experiences of taking part in television antiques series which regularly attract audiences of several million viewers.
The talk, which begins at 2pm, is a ticket-only event with tickets costing £5 each – the whole £5 will then be donated to the Prospect Hospice. Tickets can be booked by calling 01635 580595 or visiting www.specialauctionservices.com
