There will be no Wiltshire Council rubbish collections taking place on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
Collections of all garden waste, meanwhile, will be suspended between Monday, December 23 and Monday, January 6.
Real Christmas trees can be left out for recycling along with garden waste bins, on their scheduled collection days, from Tuesday, January 7 until the end of January.
Christmas trees can also be recycled at any of Wiltshire’s 11 Household Recycling Centres.
These facilities will be closed from 1pm on Christmas Eve as well as all day Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.
