A 12-year-old boy who was in collision with a car on yesterday afternoon has returned home from hospital.
The boy suffered minor injuries after colliding with a silver Jaguar X-Type at 4.17pm and was taken to Bath's Royal United Hospital to be checked over.
He was stepping off a bus and crossing the road at the bottom of Old Derry Hill, opposite the Fiat Garage, when the collision happened.
The scene was investigated by road traffic officers and police were called to direct traffic as the road was partially blocked.
The road was fully open again around 5.05pm.
