TWO men have been charged with armed robbery following an incident at a Calne petrol station in August.
The robbery, at the Murco shop on Oxford Road, took place at around 9.30pm on Tuesday, August 27.
Police have CCTV images of two males entering the shop with their faces covered and hoods up just before the incident. It is alleged they approached the shop counter, where one showed a knife to the cashier, and they asked her fill a bag with cash and cigarettes.
Dylan Gaffey, of Cloatley Crescent, Royal Wootton Bassett, and Ryan Mills, of Blackberry Lane, Potterne, near Devizes, were charged by police on December 6.
The men, who are both 18, were released on bail to appear before Salisbury magistrates on January 3.
