Elderly residents in Wiltshire have the chance to have a free holiday thanks to the National Benevolent Fund for the Aged.

The five-day break to Bracklesham Bay on the South Downs in Sussex includes accommodation, breakfast and dinner, nightly entertainment and daily excursions, as well as coach travel.

The trip is part of the NBFA’s Breaks-Away scheme and runs from February 17–21, 2014.

It is also open to residents in Swindon, Andover, Reading, Wokingham, and Bracknell.

The NBFA was set up more than 55 years ago to help reduce isolation and loneliness, and increase the independence of older people in the UK and the Breaks-Away service offers retired people an opportunity to meet new people from their local communities.

To qualify for the free Break-Away you must be aged 65 or over, on a low income, and able to get on and off a coach and to look after yourself.
Places are limited and the application deadline closes on December 12.

Anyone interested can call NBFA Assisting the Elderly for an application form on 020 7828 0200.
