Chef Marco Pierre White takes over Rudloe hotel
TV chef and restaurateur Marco Pierre White has added another Wiltshire restaurant to his growing collection, with the rebranding of the Rudloe Hall Hotel in Corsham.
Once the youngest chef to ever receive a Michelin star and a regular on TV, he now focuses on running his restaurant chain Wheeler’s, which already includes The Pear Tree Inn near Melksham and the Horse and Groom in Charlton, near Malmesbury.
He bought the hotel, which is based off Leafy Lane in Corsham, last year.
Renamed the Rudloe Arms, it will become the tenth Wheeler’s location in the country, and has undergone an extensive refurbishment over the last two months.
Three years ago the Grade I-listed building spent seven months in administration, before it was taken over by West Register in November 2010.
It has remained open throughout the transition, with a formal launch event planned shortly.
