A pet-themed roadshow will be doing the rounds in Wiltshire this summer, as it tours the county offering free advice to pet owners.

Staff from GreenSquare housing association will take to their ‘Big Blue Bus’ for a fortnight, visiting residents and their pets for help with flea management and nutrition. Wiltshire Council will also be providing free micro-chipping for dogs at the sessions.

Sue Chapman, community involvement officer at GreenSquare said: “We know how important pets are to many of our residents, so we would like to encourage people to come along and pick up some hints and tips about de-fleaing and general pet welfare.

“We have been on similar road trips in the past and find that these events give residents the chance to ask us any questions they might have particularly about welfare reform and the changes to benefits.

“It is important that residents have the chance to let us know what they think about their neighbourhoods and recommend any changes we could make.”

Starting on July 26 in Malmesbury, the bus will visit Chippenham and Royal Wootton Bassett, before stopping at Calne and Corsham on August 7.
