Families enjoyed worship, music, crafts and sport at a Christian festival organised by the Roman Catholic parishes of Calne and Chippenham last weekend.
The event, held in a field in East Tytherton, was attended by around 200 people and began on Saturday with children’s activities and games.
Youngsters took part in a treasure hunt, football and archery, and helped to create a large piece of artwork on a panel that will be displayed at St Edmund’s Primary School in Calne.
Later families attended an outdoor mass, followed by a barbecue, live music and dancing until 11am.
The event, which is in its third year, raised between £500 to £1,000 for local projects and charities.
On Sunday, Reverend Jim Scott, a retired priest who lives in Bremhill, led a morning service.
Event organiser Jessica Pillow said: “We had a smaller amount of people because of the weather but actually it made it more of an intimate event. Although we didn’t raise as much money, it was probably the best in terms of family spirit.”
