People attending the Cycle on the Green event in Devizes can take advantage of the selection of bikes the organisers will have available.

The event, on June 15, aims to encourage people to cycle and show it is a pastime that all can take part in.

Organiser Margaret Nightingale said: “The potential for getting out and about on bikes doesn’t stop at a certain stage in life and for many with disabilities it’s still an option. There is a variety of excellent cycles, available mainly from small and specialist manufacturers.

“Many people don’t know what’s out there and tend to think they can’t get back on the road or take up cycling, or they buy bikes that aren’t really the right ones for them. We hope to prove that cycling is for everyone.”
