WILTSHIRE Police have confirmed that the two girls killed in a fatal crash on the A419 this morning were Shaya Leigh and Kerrylee O'Leary-Staniford.

A grey Renault Clio left the northbound A419, about 350 metres north of the A420 White Hart junction, at about 5am and ended up down a bank in undergrowth about 20 metres from the road.

Three passengers were thrown clear of the vehicle. Two people were found by officers in the badly-damaged car.

The driver, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was 18-year-old Shaya, of Reading Street.

Seventeen-year-old Kerrylee, of Albion Street, who was the front seat passenger, died later at Great Western Hospital.

Two 20-year-old male passengers who were taken to Frenchay Hospital in Bristol are critically injured and in intensive care.

Another 20-year-old male is being treated for serious injuries in GWH.

The three men have been named locally as Jordan Gulliver, Jake Gibbons and Harry Livingston.

Police have appointed family liaison officers to support the families.

Officers would like to stress that three surviving victims are receiving treatment for their injuries in hospital.

Speculation about their condition is upsetting for their family and friends.
