St John’s Church in Devizes will resound to an eclectic mix of musical sounds on Saturday, April 13, as eight young friends join together to present a wide-ranging programme.
The sixth form concert is the brainchild of friends Phoebe Heaton-Renshaw and Izzy Wintour, known as Pi.
They want to raise money for two charities, the Project Trust and Projects Abroad, which both help young people on gap years take part in community work overseas.
They recruited friends Elen Pigott, Gabriella Eels, Jennie Jopling, Lizzy Oginda, Zara Lee and Max Stanton for the talented line-up.
Phoebe, a student at Cheltenham Ladies’ College, said: “Max is a great jazz drummer and he will be doing great things with percussion, but most of the evening will be classical. I hope as many people as possible will come along.”
Tickets, £5, are available on the door or in advance from Crowman Antiques in Northgate Street, by emailing Piandfriends@gmail.com
