Hair salon in running for national trophy

Hair salon Essensuals in Marlborough has gained a place in the regional finals of the L’Oréal Colour Trophy 2013.
The High Street salon entered by submitting a photograph that demonstrated its technical expertise and fashion awareness.
Daryl Greenaway, who owns the salon with his partner Sophia Kociuba, said: “Our look is current and commercial and we are proud to be part of such a prestigious award.”
They beat stiff competition from more than 1,000 entries from across the UK. The team will join 65 other salons from across the west in a bid to secure the L’Oréal Professionnel Men’s Image Award 2013.
They will have to prove their skills in an event at Cheltenham Racecourse on April 2.
