Devizes man accused of robbing the same victim twice

A Devizes man who is accused of robbing the same man twice over a six week period is to face trial by judge and jury.
Rhys Carey, 22, is said to have carried out the first offence in Gipsy Lane, Swindon, on Monday, September 10, taking £4.
He is then accused of robbing the same victim in Swindon on Friday, October 19, making off with £15.
Carey, of Bath Road, pleaded not guilty to two charge of robbery when he appeared at Swindon crown court.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to Monday, June 3, and released Caret on bail on condition he does not have contact with witnesses and does not go to Swindon.
