Calne man pleads not guilty to sex assault charge

A man who is accused of sexually assaulting a woman is to face trial by judge and jury.
Kierain McLaughlin pleaded not guilty to a charge of sexual assault when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.
It is alleged that McLaughlin, 30, of Barbel Close, Calne, committed the offence on the woman on Saturday, October 6, last year.
Judge Douglas Field adjourned the case to Monday, September 16, and released McLaughlin on bail on condition he does not contact the woman.
