Say hello to greyhounds in Marlborough

Dogcharity Greyhound Rescue West of England (GRWE) is inviting shoppers to come and say hello to ex-racing dogs on Marlborough High Street.
On Saturday, between 10am and 3pm, GRWE volunteers will be on hand to answer questions and offer advice to anyone of thinking of owning a greyhound.
Stuart Parslow from GRWE said: “We have so much evidence of hounds and people supporting each other in so many ways.
“We have many dogs in need of a home, but they give so much back.
“At an event like this, people will often come up to the dogs and give them a tickle, then exclaim ‘he’s leaning on me’.
“I think this goes to show what a strong connection our hounds feel with people.”
