Organisers of car boot sales in Marlborough have presented a cheque for £2,500 to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance Charitable Trust.
The Sunday morning sales were held on Marlborough Common last year.
One of the organisers is Mary Claridge, a paramedic who lives and works in Marlborough.
She said: “I like supporting the air ambulance, because it helps us in situations which we can’t get to and I know how much money they need to keep it flying.”
She thanked Tesco in Marlborough for donating £300 to start the car boot sales and local businesses for donating prizes for a tombola.
She said: “We were quite successful considering it was the first year.”
Car boot sales will be held on March 17, April 21, May 19, June 16, July 14, August 18 and September 15.
