Grocery manager Stuart Blackburn will have his legs waxed next Friday morning. Later, from noon to 4pm, MF Martial Arts, based at White Horse Way, Calne, will visit to conduct a kickathon, when entrants compete to see how many kicks they can do. The competition is £1 a go and the top three will be given a month’s free sessions at John Bentley School.

Sainsbury’s managers also hope to arrange a flash mob during the day.

Cherhill Primary School pupils will pay £1 to wear something red. The school is also holding a cake sale and a penalty shoot-out.

Youngsters at the Little Angels Nursery, Curzon Street, are also dressing in red and holding a cake sale.
