The trust's 2012 green winners
The hunt is on for Wiltshire and Swindon’s greenest businesses is on for Wiltshire Wildlife Trust.
The Trust is encouraging businesses across Wiltshire and Swindon to submit their nomination to win one of their prestigious Corporate Green Awards. The nomination process opens today.
The winners will be announced by the Lord Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Sarah Troughton on Tuesday 14 May from 8 am to 11 am at the STEAM Museum, Hawksworth Hall, Fire Fly Avenue, Kemble Drive, Swindon SN2 2EY.
Matthew Powell, Corporate Partnerships Officer, said: “There is likely to be fierce competition again this year, as more and more businesses realising that green business practices are not only good for the environment, they are good for profits too.
"I am looking forward to seeing a lot of nominations to make the job of choosing the winners really difficult for the Trust.”
Businesses of any size from any industry sector are invited to enter, as long as they have a base in Wiltshire or Swindon. And the process of submitting your business could not be easier.
