TVs donated for patients at Savernake Hospital

Patients at Savernake Hospital can enjoy their favourite shows thanks to a donation of 24 flat screen televisions.
The Friends of Savernake Hospital and Marlborough College provided televisions for two wards at the hospital to help make life more comfortable for patients.
The college gave 12 TVs to Ailesbury Ward following a request by the Friends of Savernake Hospital, and the charity matched this donation to aid the Cotswold House eating disorder unit.
Friends committee chairman Janet Louth said: “We are very grateful to the college for coming forward.
“Their generous donation has meant that we have been able to use our funds for other projects including the refurbishment of the balcony area of the ward to provide seating and planters for use by patients and their visitors in the warmer months.”
The Friends have also provided a second set of chair scales at a cost of £510 for Ailesbury Ward.
