Pewsey villagers reach defibrillator goal

Pewsey Parish Council has reached its target of raising £14,000 to provide seven life-saving defibrillators in the village.

It took just three months to raise the cash and it is now looking to fund a mobile defibrillator, which will be available at community events.

Coun Phil Stevens said: “The first defibrillator was installed before Christmas and has already been used twice. We thank everybody who has donated.”

Residents can sign up for a free introduction into the use of CPR and defibrillators at the Bouverie Hall on April 17 from 7pm to 8.30pm.
