Chinese students enjoyed a taste of Malmesbury School life when they visited the school for the day.
Year 10 and 11 pupils from Shimen Experimental Middle School in China visited Malmesbury School to take part in lessons and experience an English school dinner.
Brett Jouny, Malmesbury School’s senior curriculum leader, said: “We have sent students to their school a couple of times before and we are going to try to organise another trip over there soon.
“But this was the first time students from Shimen School have visited us and it was really encouraging for potential trips in the future.
“Everybody at the school was very excited.
“They were the centre of attention, which was probably a bit strange for them at first, but they seemed to enjoy their visit and mixed well with our students.
“They took part in an hour-long lesson and had a curry lunch at school, so it was a typical English school meal.
“The students are here for three weeks and will take part in tourist activities.”
