Lord-Lieutenant of Wiltshire, Sarah Rose Troughton, will visit Malmesbury School later this month to give a presentation on her role.
Mrs Troughton, pictured, was appointed Lord-Lieutenant in February 2012, and is the first woman to hold the position since it was created in the 16th century.
She is responsible for the organisation of all official royal visits to the county.
Her presentation, entitled ‘The Role of a New Lord-Lieutenant’, takes place on Monday, February 25, at 6.30pm.
