Devizes store moves across the road

Clarks Shoe Shop will not be moving far when it takes up new premises in Devizes.
The store is relocating to the opposite side of The Brittox to the former Millers kitchen shop.
Clarks spokesman Paul Spencer said: “The lease on our current shop in Devizes is expiring this month and we have taken the opportunity to remain within the town and move across the road.
“The new premises will be a brand new refitted store.”
Clarks has applied to Wiltshire Council’s planning department for permission to install new signs at the former Millers store.
Mr Spencer said a date for the relocation has not been confirmed.
Clarks has been in its current premises since September 1980.
