Wild boar seen near Allington triggers alarm

Police received several calls after a wild boar was spotted on the loose on the A420 last week.
Several people saw the tusked beast near Allington Farm Shop, near the A350 junction. The animal can stand taller than one metre.
Police received calls at about 2.30pm on Thursday.
The boar was not caught but police have not received calls about it since.
