Residents in Wick Lane, Devizes, are without water this morning after a water main burst in their road.
The road started to flood at about 10am after the main fractured and Wessex Water has been informed.
Local resident Richard Pawlak said: "We haven't had any water for the past hour. I can look out of my window and see where it is going.
"We've had no information from Wessex Water. Our neighbours have phoned them and we hope someone will come out soon."
A spokeswoman for Wessex Water said: "The burst is believed to have been caused by a contractor working in the area. We are carrying out repairs to the water main and hope to get water restored as soon as possible."
