Oaksey man charged with making and possessing indecent images of children

A man from Oaksey has been charged with making and possessing over 1,000 indecent images of children.
David Galey, 53, appeared at North Wiltshire Magistrates’ Court on Friday and was bailed until January 4, when there will be a plea and case management hearing at Swindon Crown Court.
Mr Galey, of Bendy Bow, has been charged with making and possessing 1,179 images and 462 videos, some of which are said to be at the extreme end of the scale.
