To aid Christmas shoppers looking for the perfect gift Box Steam Brewery’s Shop in Holt will be staying open late on Thursday, December 13.

The store, based at their brewery, in The Midlands, will be open between 10.30am and 8.30pm on the day.

To mark the event, the brewery, whose drinks include Tunnel Vision, Funnel Blower and Golden Bolt amongst others, will be getting into the festive spirit with carol singers performing throughout the day and visitors able to taste test beverages.

There will also be Tunnel Vision mince pies to try and brewer Philip Downes will be on-hand to talk about Box Steam Brewery’s drinks.

Owner, Andrew Roberts, said: “We are excited to have a festive day as it will not only give us a chance to give our customers taste advice and recipe ideas when purchasing the ales, but it will give Box a prime location.”

Mr Roberts also said he was delighted that some Tesco stores across the south west of England have now started stocking the Tunnel Vision and Funnel Blower ales.

The chain started selling the drinks last month and the move aims to raise the profile of Box Steam Brewery in the south west.

Mr Roberts said: “We have ambitious plans to continue growing Box Steam Brewery, and this listing is hugely exciting for us.”
