Devizes man charged

A 29-year-old man from Devizes has been charged with robbing a jewellers in Malmesbury.

Christopher Pike, of White Horse Way, has been remanded in custody following the alleged robbery at County Jewellers, High Street, Malmesbury, on October 5.

Pike will appear at Swindon Magistrates’ Court today to face further charges including theft and burglary.

He is next due to appear at Swindon Crown Court on November 16 in relation to the robbery charge.
