Markey Lavington school pupil Isabella Paxton has achieved national fame after her winning design was printed on eggcups being sold all over the country for Eggs for Soldiers, which raises money for Help for Heroes.
Isabella, a nine-year-old pupil at St Barnabas Primary School, took the top prize in the design contest organised by the charity in May out of 1,500 entries. She won a Wii console and uDraw tablet for the school.
Now Eggs for Soldiers has created a limited edition of eggcups bearing her design, which will be available to buy from www.helpforheroes.org.uk A spokesman for Eggs for Soldiers said: “Isab-ella’s bright yellow and green quirky picture features a charming saluting chicken in an army uniform. “Her cute design will help to raise much needed funding for Help for Heroes, which works tirelessly to make a real difference to the lives of soldiers injured in the line of duty.”
