ALMOST 450 people danced the night away at the biennial Butterfly Ball near Marlborough on Saturday raising an expected £20,000 for cancer and leukaemia charities.

The Organ Inn in Warminster made Wiltshire Search and Rescue their charity of the month for April. The staff and patrons of the pub raised £214 for the charity through a number of activities including a quiz and raffle at the end of the month. Prizes for the raffle were donated by Burtons, Car Mart, Frock Shop Jacqulines, The Organ Inn and Serendipity. Each month The Organ Inn raises funds for a local charity and the Beckford Centre will be the charity of the month for May.
