Mings won't break the bank for Belle

| Wanted man: Cortez Belle in action against Cardiff |
Strict Chippenham Town boss Adie Mings says he will not break the bank to sign in demand Cortez Belle.
The Bluebirds supremo is looking to fill the void left by Matthew McEntegart's defection to Blue Square South Welling United and 24-year-old Belle fits the bill.
But despite being financially outmuscled by Welling for McEntegart and with five Blue Square South sides after Belle, Mings say any deal will be on the club's terms.
"Hopefully we can get Cortez on board but we have got a wage structure and we will not break the bank for a player," he said.
"We try and keep everyone on the same money so there are no big earners. Everyone is relatively on the same based on their experience."
Mings and assistant manager Tommy Callinan held talks with Belle after the 1-0 friendly defeat to Cardiff at Hardenhuish Park on Tuesday.
They have yet to talk terms with the former Halifax and Merthyr Tydfil man and Mings is wary of the wages Belle could expect.
He said: "It could be a problem, but hopefully it will not be. We have had a couple of long conversations and hopefully everything will be sorted out."
Belle can play up front or in defence and, as well as replacing McEntegart, offer much needed height to the Bluebirds attack.
He gained European experience with Llanelli in the 2006/07 UEFA Cup, playing against Danish side Odense and Swedish outfit Gefle IF and Mings knows he would be a huge signing.
"Cortez would be a massive coup," he said.
"All the big clubs who have aspirations to do well have to go out and get the quality of player that is needed to win the league.
"When he gets going he will be a big player for us, if we can keep him."
