Fire crews tackle Swindon blazes

A spate of fires in Swindon is still being investigated after fire crews attended three incidents during the early hours of this morning.

Fire crews from Swindon and Stratton were first called to a garage fire on Beatrice Street, Gorse Hill at 2.33am.

They used a hose reel jet and to breathing apparatus at the incident.

A car fire was then attended by Stratton fire crew at 3.08am on Sandown Avenue, in Old Town Swindon where two breathing apparatus and a hose reel were needed.

At 3.35am a motorcycle fire on Florence Street at Gorse Hill was attended by Swindon fire crews who used a hose reel jet.
