Another major incident in Devizes
Police have this morning cordoned off a wooded area in Green Lane, Devizes.
Blue and white tape has been put around trees leading to houses on the old Roundway Hospital site.
A police officer is preserving the scene while others conduct house to house inquries in the area.
It is believed a person was attacked last night.
The town is still coming to terms with the murder of Barry Cooper who died from stab wounds yesterday after being attacked in flats at Victoria Road, Devizes, on Friday evening.

after talking to a friend today, its believed this child handed himself in. he told friends it was just sex. she consented. this child has been a little **** for years, before handing himself in his behaviour was different, he was very quite and not himself. as i know this child sadly, i know this is not his usual behaviour. just sex, this is just an excuse, i believe he is guilty!!! this poor girl has been through so much. least he could do is be man enought to come clean but then again he cant be much of a man to rape someone just a sick child. i hope they judge does not use the excuse of the mental health act but sends him down for life!!! no more than he deserves as this poor girl has to live with this for life!!!
