The men were arrested at a holiday let property in Potterne.

The men were also arrested on suspicion of possession of crack cocaine and cultivation of cannabis plants.

The men, all in their 30s and from Stoke on Trent, are currently being questioned at Melksham Police Station.

In the burglary at Hartmoor Road the elderly couple who live in the house disturbed three intruders at about 5pm. A total of £1,470 was stolen together with a pension book and keys.

I was stood outside the Bear hotel in Devizes last week when the local police went in and turfed them out because they weren't welcome here. You can't blame the boys in blue for not trying to protect us!!!Scum like that just keep coming back!
