RE Mrs Maslen’s letter about poor TV reception. I thought everyone in the area was aware of this problem due to there being no main transmitter in range and so our signal comes from the repeater mast west of Devizes. This is why virtually every house in the locality has a Sky dish fitted.
The simple answer, as we discovered when we moved into the area, was to buy a FreeSat box and satellite dish. Problem solved. Perfect reception.
