I READ with interest Cllr Chivers’ letter last week saying that he had “recently reported a street light out and a large pothole” but they had not been fixed.
I welcome Cllr Chivers’ comments and ask him to send me the report numbers as I have checked into all reports that Cllr Chivers has logged under his name and the last one was concerning flytipping in January 2015. The only other report in his name is a pothole in March 2014.
Both reports were actioned and completed with Cllr Chivers’ account being informed of that.
The MyWiltshire system does work, it allows residents to report faults, get them fixed, and be informed of their completion. I encourage Wiltshire residents to download the app or use it online as it also saves Wiltshire Council a considerable amount of money.
Each MyWiltshire report costs about 25p as opposed to a telephone report costing about £5.37.
Our figures show more people than ever are using the app and I’d encourage more people to report issues in this way.
