IN HIS weekly column on February 2, MP James Gray concludes by saying that while it is recognised that “the will of the majority” should prevail, it is important too to secure “the rights and views of the minority as well.”
Given that the EU referendum result was so close, with more than 48 per cent voting to Remain, and that both Northern Ireland and Scotland returned majorities for staying in the EU, how does he square the hard Brexit being pursued by the Government, with his stated position on recognising the rights and views of the minority?
